Story board

In my storyboard I have decided to dedicate colours for certain parts of the scene for example red being the colour that represents Eddie and purple the on that represents Valerie, I used the colour blue to represent the frame of the shot and the smaller blue frames to show where it would either pan or zoom to.  some shots that I wanted to do I was just not able to draw it out so I simply labelled it to what would be an initial idea of the shot. I have done the whole storyboard in 9 frames however some frames contain an extra 1-3 frames which saved me a lot of time and didn't change what I was trying to show/achieve. I thought the storyboard went well however if I did it again I would try and show some of the transitions I had in mind in some sort of way because for some of the shots it is just not as clear as I would like it to be.

Short film review "Identity" by K.J. Adames

 In this review I will be going over K.J. Adames short film "Identity" which Is about about living in a society where everyone hides their true identity using masks. in the first scene of the film we are introduced to the main character which is the girl. we see her looking back at herself in the mirror and looking happy and proud. however that goes away quickly as everything starts going back in reverse and we see her emotions fade. this was a way to intrigues the audience on what's to come later. this was very interesting because for me as a viewer as it puts me in a weird uncomfortable feeling which intrigues me on what's to come. as the reverse finishes at 1:10 we now see the same girl in her school canteen but now she is wearing a mask and so is everyone else around her. As we cut to her we can see that she is very uncomfortable and unsociable as she chooses to sit on her own. from that scene we can also see that she is very different from everyone else as she is...

Test shoots

During the pre-production phase of this project, we were able to conduct a large number of test shoots. The majority of the test shoots took place in the library and gallery, which is fantastic because it allowed everyone to fully learn their roles. Additionally, because we had so many days where we could do test shoots, everyone had the opportunity to try out different roles when we had to switch roles. I think it was great that we were able to switch roles during production because it allows everyone to fully understand what everyone else is going through and what they need to do. I didn't have a set role during the filming at Uca because there wasn't much I could do, but as a result, I had the opportunity to do several different roles during that time and during the test shoot. One of the more common roles I played was that of a stand-in. Role Research and relevant paperwork/content

The location manager role was the primary role that I was assigned at the beginning of the live project; however, there were several other roles and tasks that I took on throughout the show; another smaller role that I took on during the show was lighting because no one had been assigned that role at the beginning. While working on the project, I also worked on the set and props, building a small part of the set and creating props, as well as taking on the responsibility of purchasing materials during the pre-production stage, working with sound, standing in and directing for a short period of time during the pre-production stage, working on the vt and creating 3d scans of the rooms.  location manager research   During the live project interview stage, I originally applied to do sound and be behind the scenes, but after the interview, I was given the role of location manager, which I believe was due to my previous experience.
